Guided Look is a San Francisco-based personal styling business offering in-person and virtual services, including foundational style analysis, Style Clarity Sessions, Closet Correction, Shopping Reset, Personal Shopping, and related or customized services.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to book a Guided Look service. If you are seeking services for a minor, please contact Guided Look before booking so appropriate parent or guardian involvement and consent can be addressed.

Guided Look provides individualized styling analysis, education, recommendations, and opinions based on information you provide, Guided Look’s professional judgment, and styling frameworks involving factors such as shape, proportion, coloring, visual harmony, personal preference, and lifestyle.

Styling analysis is interpretive and subjective. Body Type, Color Season, Essence, and similar styling concepts are not medical, psychological, or scientific diagnoses. Guided Look does not guarantee that any particular recommendation, garment, color, purchase, or styling choice will produce a specific personal, professional, social, or financial result.

You remain free to wear, purchase, keep, return, or disregard any item or recommendation. Guided Look’s goal is to provide useful guidance, not rules about what you are allowed to wear.

Service prices and booking options are listed on the Guided Look website or provided directly to you. Unless otherwise stated, the styling fee is due as instructed during or immediately after booking. A paid appointment is not considered reserved until the required styling fee has been received.

Payments may be processed through third-party providers. Those providers may have separate terms, fees, and privacy practices. Guided Look does not control the operation of third-party payment systems.

Prices may change prospectively. A price change will not alter the price of a service already booked and paid for unless you and Guided Look agree to modify the service.

To receive the best value from your service, you agree to provide information reasonably requested for the service and to provide it accurately to the best of your knowledge. Depending on the service, this may include questionnaire responses, photographs, measurements, wardrobe information, inspiration images, sizing information, or shopping preferences.

Recommendations depend in part on the accuracy, completeness, and quality of the information and photographs you provide. Guided Look is not responsible for limitations in an analysis caused by materially incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, filtered, altered, or misleading client-provided information.

You retain ownership of photographs and other materials you submit. By providing them, you give Guided Look a limited, non-exclusive permission to view, store, reproduce, crop, annotate, or otherwise use those materials only as reasonably necessary to prepare and deliver the styling service you requested, including your personalized guides or summaries.

Guided Look will not use identifiable client photos, reviews, measurements, or styling information for public marketing, social media, Client Transformations, or promotional materials without separate permission.

Guided Look retains ownership of its original methods, written explanations, templates, layouts, graphics, educational content, and other proprietary materials. Upon full payment, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Style Guide, Closet Guide, Shopping Summary, shopping notes, and other materials created for you for your own personal styling and wardrobe use.

You may save, print, and reference your personalized materials for personal use. You may not sell, publish, license, reproduce for commercial purposes, create a competing service from, or distribute substantial portions of Guided Look materials without written permission. Nothing in these Terms claims ownership over third-party styling systems, retailer content, or client-owned materials.

Product recommendations are based on information available at the time of the service. Guided Look does not control retailer inventory, pricing, sizing consistency, quality, shipping, delivery, promotions, return policies, or product availability. Items may sell out, change price, fit differently than expected, or appear different in person.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the cost of clothing, accessories, beauty products, alterations, shipping, taxes, or other merchandise is separate from Guided Look’s styling fee. You are responsible for reviewing retailer terms and completing or authorizing purchases.

Returns, exchanges, warranties, defects, shipping issues, and disputes relating to a retailer or manufacturer are governed by that third party’s policies. Guided Look may assist with styling-related questions but is not the seller of third-party merchandise.

Personal Shopping is a curation service. Guided Look may identify products and provide links, notes, priority recommendations, or styling suggestions based on your profile and stated needs. Unless separately agreed in writing, Guided Look does not guarantee that every recommended item will remain available or fit exactly as expected, and Guided Look is not responsible for retailer fulfillment.

For in-person services, you agree to provide a reasonably safe environment and to communicate relevant access or scheduling information in advance. Guided Look may end or decline an in-person service if conditions are unsafe, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate. Any resulting refund or rescheduling will be determined based on the circumstances and applicable law.

Virtual services depend on internet access, video quality, lighting, camera settings, and the quality of submitted photographs. Colors, fabric texture, fit, and proportions may appear differently through a screen. Guided Look will use reasonable professional judgment but cannot guarantee that a virtual visual assessment will reproduce every detail that would be visible in person.

Bookings are subject to the Guided Look Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review that policy before booking. If a specific written booking confirmation contains terms that are more favorable to you, those terms will control for that booking.

You may use the Guided Look website for lawful personal purposes. You may not attempt to interfere with website security or operation, scrape or harvest information in a manner that violates law or website restrictions, impersonate another person, misuse contact forms or scheduling tools, or copy substantial portions of website content for commercial use without permission.

The website or services may use or link to third parties, including scheduling providers, payment processors, video-conferencing services, retailers, social platforms, or other websites. Guided Look does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, policies, or performance. Your use of a third-party service may be subject to separate terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and styling services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Guided Look makes no warranty that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free or that styling recommendations will match every subjective preference or produce a particular outcome. Nothing in these Terms limits any warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Guided Look will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the website, styling recommendations, third-party products, retailer conduct, or your use of a recommended item. Guided Look’s aggregate liability arising from a particular paid styling service will not exceed the amount you paid Guided Look for that service.

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability arising from fraud, willful misconduct, or other non-waivable rights under applicable law.

Guided Look is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events reasonably outside our control, including severe weather, natural disasters, utility or internet outages, transportation disruptions, illness or emergency, government action, or widespread service-platform outages. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate and reschedule affected services.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in San Francisco County, California, except where applicable consumer law requires a different forum or permits you to proceed elsewhere.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.

Guided Look may update these Terms prospectively as the business or services change. The effective date at the top will be updated when changes are made. The Terms in effect at the time you book will generally govern that booking unless a change is required by law or you agree otherwise.
